Sona Hovhannisyan is an artist and designer sharing her time between commercial work in print,
digital, broadcast and a personal collaborative fine arts practice. Her creative talents became noticeable
at an early age, exploring wide range of interests from drawing to fashion, and at last, naturally
landing herself in the visual communications field with love and aspiration for photography and sculpture.
Sona was born in Armenia, moving to the United States with her family at the age of 11. She graduated
from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA(2011) in Visual Communication Design
and as a recipient of the Anna Louis Raymond Fellowship. She has earned multiple recognitions and
publications, remaining active in the art and design community today.
Andrea Gonzalez is a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator with a passion for typography.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela; Andrea comes from an artistic background. Raised among clay and
T-squares she was exposed to a variety of disciplines from an early age. At 15, she moved with her family
to the United States due to the political turmoil that still afflicts Venezuela. She graduated from the
School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA(2011) in Visual Communication Design. She is a recipient
of the John W. Kurtich travel Scholarship and the Hillbruner Artists' Book Fellowship.
Her expertise includes hand lettering, branding, art direction, and information design spanning across
multiple media and platforms. Her work includes print, digital, and sculptural design pieces. Currently,
while a full time Art Director at Ogilvy & Mather, Andrea maintains an ongoing conceptual and
collaborative practice.
While working side by side for the past 5 years, Project Honeymoon is their first direct collaboration.
